The Collective connects renewable energy projects like wind turbines and solar farms with people who want to invest in them. By selling or listing a project, you’re giving more people a stake in the green energy transition.

How it works
This could look a little different for each project, but here’s what to expect:
Register your interest — Fill out our form, and we’ll check if your project could be a good fit for the Collective.
We’ll review the details — Our team will assess your project, and if it looks like a match, we'll work with you to figure out the best way forward.
List or sell — If you’re listing, your project goes live for investment on the Collective. If you’re selling, Octopus Energy takes it off your hands.

FAQs
The Collective enables everyday people to invest in renewable energy projects like wind turbines and solar farms. We want to work with developers and project owners to bring more projects to our investor base, helping fund and grow green energy across the UK.
Right now, we’re open to hearing about any project that generates renewable energy — big or smaller, operational or with planning approval. If it can deliver clear, fair, and competitive financial returns for our investors, we’re keen to chat.
We’re currently more focused on projects based in the UK. However, feel free to reach out about an international project if you think we’ll want to hear about it.
To list a project on the Collective, we charge a listing fee and a fundraising fee based on the amount raised.
